Description
Light Condition:
She thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but will grow more slowly and may have fewer leaves. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
Water Level:
Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between watering’s. Water the plant thoroughly, ensuring that excess water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so be cautious not to keep the soil consistently soggy.
Temperature:
She prefers temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). It enjoys a stable, warm environment.
Repotting:
Repot your Chinese Money Plant in the spring or early summer, during its active growing season. This allows the plant to recover and establish itself in its new pot before the slower winter months. Repot when you notice roots emerging from the bottom of the pot, if the plant becomes top-heavy, or if the soil seems depleted or compacted.
