Description
Light Condition:
She prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may not grow as vigorously or may lose some of its vibrant color.
Water Level:
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Dracaenas are relatively drought-tolerant, so it’s better to let the soil dry out somewhat between watering rather than keep it consistently moist.
Temperature:
She thrives in temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). It prefers a warm, stable environment.
Repotting:
Repot in the spring or early summer, when the plant is actively growing. This helps it adjust more easily to the new pot and soil. Typically, repot every 1-2 years or when the plant becomes root-bound or outgrows its pot. Signs include roots growing out of the drainage holes or slowed growth.
Pet Warning: Toxic If Ingested
